It's a free, Internet-based day planner that allows users to store appointments online, receive reminders about them and share those plans with others. ....google stuff, very interesting...i was checking my AntiSpyware file last night and saw that Google was scanning my computer...i am curious about the implications of this...can you enlighten me?

Regarding the Google Calendat, most such application do scan computers to figure out what kind of sites you are visiting, so that they can embed Online Ads. And thats the way they make money. I think MSN Messenger does the same thing. So does Kaza and other File Sharing systems like Limewire, Ares, etc.......
So its basically using a free application which in turn makes money by sending Online Ads to you.

I've been trying to figure out if a current website client could use this new calendar service on his website to keep his readers updated on his events -- booksignings, appearances, and such. Now, where did I put that Google API key?
The only Google app that I know of that can scan your computer is Google Desktop (that's its function).
