Very interesting indeed! Kids these days have lots of tools to use and it's good that they can actually put them to work for a good reason, not only to play a game and chat with their friends.

Kayla, things have certainly changed from when kids' wish lists consisted of baby dolls, action heroes and a bike.

Maybe they still want a bike..Yet one with a computer on board and polliphonic sounds! :D

Also a doll! Lara Croft with speaking ability or something like that! If it's game related, it will do!

Kayla, are you trying to give the kids even more ideas?? :-)

Your ideas are definitely creative. A Laura Croft doll? LOL

I would love to have a Mrs. Smith doll - with Angelina Jolie saying "Whose your daddy now?" ;-)

Very funny, DCS! We should invent it, don't you think? Yet I am not sure who would love it more, women or men..

I think the technology is good for them. It's the other things that concerns me. My daughter can figure out anything that's high tech. They are living in quite a different age.

Kayla: By all means, we should invent our special doll! We could conduct market research to see who would buy it. However, my instincts tell me the doll would be an instant hit. Let's do it!

Rose: Our kids, indeed, are growing up in a different age. I'm glad your brought up your daughter's technical skills. Good for her!

My daughter climbed up on a chair in front of my computer at age 3 and started doing stuff I didn't know how to do! Both she and her older brother have been my computer consultants since they were small. Kids are amazing.
