"Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it," Robertson said on his Christian Broadcasting Network show. "They were under the heel of the French ...... and they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, 'We will serve you if you'll get us free from the French.' True story. And the devil said, 'OK, it's a deal,' Robertson said. Ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another." more about Pat Robertson

Yo believe that?
@Shi: No. I believe Pat Robinson made an irresponsible and hateful remark.
I've been trying to use my energy more productively, but when I hear remarks like this - attacks on people at their most dire times - I get infuriated. But then I realize that responding negatively to him doesn't do a thing to support the plight of those struggling. THEY are the people that matter most.
The hell with Pat Robertson.
Ya. Thanks.
@Andre: I hear you. I intentionally did not offer any commentary regarding the Robertson remark because I, too, wanted to take the high road.
God bless you for what you're doing on your site to support efforts of disaster relief in Haiti.
Oh, I believe he know what happened, and is lying about it too! HE was the devil that tried to cut that deal but now lie about it because they told him to get lost. He still is lost and somewhere on cable TV in America now. Is he really still alive?
