You are so multi-faceted, Deb. That must be just one of the reasons I like you.

When I see kids engaged in cyber world so deeply that they seem to be drifiting away from real life, I start thinking things. Let me add that I am for this socital advancment but I somtime fear about the fast bluriing line between real life and virtual life.

Shi: You bring up some very important points.

I think a lot of adults share your concerns, including this one. As a parent, I have kept an eye on my kids to make sure that they don't get too attached to the virtual world. I have encouraged them to hone their technology skills. At the same time, I believe it's important for adults to make sure that children have balance in all aspects of their lives.
