'Try it, you'll like it'

Update for popular 1970s commercial

Comedian Kathy Griffin is appearing in a remake of a popular, humorous 1971 spot for Alka-Seltzer known as "Try it, you'll like it." The re-created commercial is running on television as well as on the brand's website. Stuart Elliott reports for the New York Times.

I want to see someone rerun the old Volkswagen ad with the two dudes in the Beatle who spot the old easy chair by the side of the road. Even in memory that one cracks me up.

Hey DCS I thought "try it, you'll Like it", was from the cereal commercial, "Hey Mikey, he likes it."

The only commercial I remember from the 70s is "Don't take the car! You'll kill yourseeeeeeelf!"
