Looking for a break from deadlines?

Escape to Cecilia's world

It's the beginning of the week, and you've already been staring at your computer screen for hours. Perhaps you're writing on deadline. Or trying to stay awake as you research a complex topic.

If you're looking for a break, consider visiting clearcandy daily to get a glimpse of the world through Cecilia's eyes. Her site is great if you need a mental vacation or some time for reflection - if you want to escape to another dimension. Cecilia's blog is a treasure chest when it comes to good creative writing.

Today's gem is called Mona Lisa Smile. But don't stop at today's post. Cecilia has plenty of prose and haiku to keep you coming back for more.

Just like you to send me to a site where I have to get serious.

It worked!

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming, SNARK!

Bob: You're great when it comes to getting in touch with your sensitive side. LOL

You've been a good Bobby (patting you on the head), so it's OK to go back to snarking. Just remember to write your haiku tonight. I expect you to share it with us tomorrow. :-)

YOU! YOUUU!! You surprised me in here! I am at a loss for proper words (shame, shame on me considering what you wrote here...).

I must have stopped breathing when I saw the familiar heading in your latest post. Thank you for this. I am truly touched and honored.

It's true, though, I sometimes get carried away in my own world of thoughts. Especially once they spin their familar webs around the page I put them in.

THANK YOU. *blush* (Asians CAN blush!) :)

Is she not just so special? WE have been very good friends since early blogging days, and supporters for each other through thick and thin. Ms. Cil is a a true jewel a rare one that shines so brite but yet few see unless they look.

Hope all is well in your world, my friend.

I am following Bob. May be that way I get some serious too.

When she writes about a situation where I was also present, I always amazed afterwards when I read about it on her blog. During the moment itself I had no idea what was going on in her little head.
