Foundation Commits $1 Million to Help Katrina VictimsThe Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) has committed $1 million to assist Missouri health and dental and mental health organizations in the MFH service region that are providing services to those displaced from their homes on the Gulf Coast as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Grants will be provided on an expedited basis to nonprofit organizations providing direct health, mental health and dental services to those relocated from the affected area to Missouri communities. Instructions for interested applicants are on the MFH web site. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 16 at 5:00 p.m.
